Care Instructions

The first time you light your new candle it should be lit for 2-4 hours; this insures a full melt pool. This will affect the way your candle burns and smells throughout the life of the candle and help prevent memory rings and tunneling. Always trim your candle wicks to 1/4 inch before every burn. Only burn your candle on a level, fire resistant surface and keep candle surface free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time and always burn candle within sight and out of reach of children and pets. Discontinue use when only ½ inch of wax remains.

Wet spots or Frosting on Candles

It is possible for some candles to develop a light flaky appearance; this is called frosting. Frosting is very common and a perfectly natural effect of using soy wax, it is the all-natural wax re-crystallizing. All soy waxes frost to some degree and is a sign that you have purchased a 100% all-natural soy wax candle. Some candles may develop clear wet spots due to hot or cold temperatures during shipping. Soy wax can expand and contract in the container, however, this will not affect the candle burn or scent throw of your candle. We do not issue refunds for this as it is a normal trait of natural soy wax candles.
